Relationships - Vocabulary

Page history last edited by cleidoca2008@... 7 years, 3 months ago

The activity proposed below has been designed for a group of adults and its sole purpose is to show students that songs are among some of the sources we can use to learn vocabulary about relationships . The first thing I do is show them the vocabulary needed to talk about relationships. Then, we look at the songs. I don´t play the four songs suggested here because it would be time consuming. However, I allow them some time to read them all and then describe the kind of relationship each author has, which could generate a very interesting discussion on relationships. I also  wrap up the activity allowing students to talk about their own relationships. In case they don´t have one, I suggest that they say what their ideal relationship would be like.

P.S: You can use any song of your choice, for many of them are about some kind of relationship, therefore it won´t be hard to find them.
